June 24, 2010 Cory rips and Irrigon Contest
Congrats to Cory McCowan for winning the Pendelton, OR contest on June 12. Cory earned a nice $400 for his win. Maybe he can repeat his win at the Irrigon Contest this saturday. Check out this edit I found of Cory McCowan skating the Columbia Park ramp and Richland skatepark on youtube. Damn he's good.
If you are in Irrigon this weekend then check out this contest. I just found out about the event last week. Unfortunatly, it was last minute and MOSAIK is unable to help out with this years event. In celebration of Go Skateboarding Day and the first day of summer check out this video of local ripper Jackson Mohs. Jackson is 4 years old and just got 3rd place in the beginner division at the 2nd annual Moses Lake Skate Fest. If he keeps it up, he just might be better then his dad someday. Go Skate!!!
June 3, 2010 Contest this Saturday, JUNE 5th
Don't forget to come out and skate in this weekends contest. The event is scheduled to start at 10am with the beginner division. Registration and open skate is from 9 to 10. The entry fee is $10 dollars and you get a free contest tee. Also this year we will be having a best trick contest in memory of Juan Pooky Vasquez. We will be selling memorial tee shirts at the event. The tee's are $20 with $10 from the sale of each tee going to the winner of the best trick contest. Last month MOSAIK went on a little trip out to the Seattle/Tacoma area to do some skating and filming. Some photos got taken and some tricks got filmed. Everyone killed it and had fun. February 20, 2010 Never Enough
It's been awhile since Yakima had a real skateshop, R.I.P. Midstate, but word on the street is Never Enough is now open for business. Yakima ripper Simon Jenson and brother teamed up to open a skate shop and indoor park. I hear its near Nob Hill and 40th, but I'm not sure. With the new shop opening out there, Ed Denier has parted ways with Mosaik to move back to Yakima and rep the new shop. We wish him the best on his new adventure. Loyalty is hard to come by these days. Just kidding Ed we still love you. With Ed gone it only means its time to add some new faces to the Mosaik roster. Stay tuned!!!

November 1, 2009 Alex Alaniz 4 years old??
This is a video of Alex when he was 4 years old. He has been skating since he was 2 years old. Do the math, he's 12 now so that means he's already been skating for 10 years. I didn't start skating until I was 11. Kids got a head start. Look out.
October 5, 2009 Ellensburg Contest Highlights
This years contest was by far the best one to date. The skating was amazing and I witnessed some banging tricks go down. Like back noseblunt revert, nollie bigspin back disaster revert and full cab back lip to name a few. Just watch Cory McCowan's run. WOW!! Thanks again everyone for another great contest and hope to see you all again next year. The video was a bit long for youtube so we broke it into 2 parts. I've been lagging in the news department, not because there is nothing to report, I've been overwhelmed with working, life and trying to balance everything out. I'm going to give you a recap of some highlights from the last few months.

June 3, 2009 Cory 2nd place at Glenhaven
Last weekend was the Zumiez Couch Tour Best Foot Forward Am Contest held in Seattle and Portland. Cory McCowan, Jake Culver, and Josh Mohsmet up with ATM am's Issey Yumiba, Nolan Helmstetter, Jake Johannes, and TM Kevin Falaheefor a weekend of contests and street skating. The Seattle contest was sick and Issey and Nolan placed 4th and 5th. Cory killed it as well. We were all supposed to drive down to the Portland Contest, but because of time issues we decided to stay in the Seattle area andskate. Marginal Way, West Seattle Bowl, Garfield, Nollie Flip down brick 10, we hit all the spots. On Sunday, Cory decided to head down to the PortlandContest, which turned out to be a good thing. He came up with 2nd place, landed his 1st 540 melon, andwalked away one happy dude. The trip was a blast. Thanks to Imperial Motion for supplying us with the IM van, ATM for sending the homies to town, and everyone else we skated andhung out with. See you all next time.
