Well the month of September was super busy for MOSAIK.  First off, we premiered the new Emerica video, STAY GOLD.  Which is probably the best video to come out in years.  Then we held an event every weekend.  We did a demo for Benton City, put on a contest in Ellensburg, did a demo for the City of Almira, and celebrated the Grand Opening of our new Ellensburg store.  We also moved our Richland store to a new location in the Uptown Plaza.  1358 Jadwin Ave to be specific.  Which means we had to get the new location up to par.  New paint, displays, and a sales counter.  As well as moving all the inventory and cleaning up the old location.  I definitely spent some long hours working and lost a little sleep.  Thank you,  Zach, Keri, Matt, Tyler, Cory V, Chris, Aimee, Jake, Andrew and Kris for all the hard work, help and love for MOSAIK.  Thanks to everyone who helped in the transition. Now that the stores are all situated, open and running, I can finally take a break and relax.  Just kidding, I mean now I can focus on other parts of the business.  No rest for me.  Hopefully, I'll have some photos of the new stores soon.  My camera is broken and I'm patiently waiting for its return.  The future is looking bright. --- Josh Mohs

The 7th annual Ellensburg Contest is this Saturday Sept. 18th.  The event starts at 11am.  Check the flyer for details.  MOSAIK and the folks at Raw Space will be hosting a video premiere featuring the new Emerica DVD "Stay Gold".  Raw Space is located next door to the new MOSAIK Store in Ellensburg.  Doors open at 8pm, admission is well I'm not to sure so bring some cash just in case, and bring a friend or two.

The long awaited Emerica video "Stay Gold" has arrived and is available for your viewing pleasure.  Stop by and pick up your copy of a soon to be  instant classic.  We will be premiering the video this Saturday the 4th at 8pm along with Transworld's "Hallelujah" video.  Bring $5 and a friend and come by the Richland shop for some video fun and you just might win a prize or two.  Bring a chair otherwise its floor seating.

Congrats to Cory McCowan for winning the Pendelton, OR contest on June 12.  Cory earned a nice $400 for his win.  Maybe he can repeat his win at the Irrigon Contest this saturday.  Check out this edit I found of Cory McCowan skating the Columbia Park ramp and Richland skatepark on youtube.  Damn he's good. 

If you are in Irrigon this weekend then check out this contest.  I just found out about the event last week.  Unfortunatly, it was last minute and MOSAIK is unable to help out with this years event. Hopefully, the event is a success and next year MOSAIK will be there in full force.  Check the flyer for more info.

In celebration of Go Skateboarding Day and the first day of summer check out this video of local ripper Jackson Mohs.  Jackson is 4 years old and just got 3rd place in the beginner division at the 2nd annual Moses Lake Skate Fest.  If he keeps it up, he just might be better then his dad someday. Go Skate!!!

Don't forget to come out and skate in this weekends contest.  The event is scheduled to start at 10am with the beginner division.  Registration and open skate is from 9 to 10.  The entry fee is $10 dollars and you get a free contest tee.  Also this year we will be having a best trick contest in memory of Juan Pooky Vasquez.  We will be selling memorial tee shirts at the event.  The tee's are $20 with $10 from the sale of each tee going to the winner of the best trick contest.  There is a limited supply and they will go fast.  Check the flyer to the right for more contest info.

The new Skate 3 is probably hitting stores as I write this,  I actually don't know, cause I actually go out and ride my skateboard, but this video is great.  Watch, enjoy, laugh, hate, whatever you do get inspired to go skate.

It's been awhile since Yakima had a real skateshop, R.I.P. Midstate, but word on the street is Never Enough is now open for business.  Yakima ripper Simon Jenson and brother teamed up to open a skate shop and indoor park.  I hear its near Nob Hill and 40th, but I'm not sure.  With the new shop opening out there, Ed Denier has parted ways with Mosaik to move back to Yakima and rep the new shop.  We wish him the best on his new adventure.  Loyalty is hard to come by these days.  Just kidding Ed we still love you.  With Ed gone it only means its time to add some new faces to the Mosaik roster.  Stay tuned!!!

If you are going to be in Tacoma this weekend check out this contest.  It should be fun.  The MOSAIK team will be heading to the west side this weekend to do some street skating, filming and to check this contest out.  Confirmed for the trip are Corey McCowan, Omar Guzman, Justin Thompson, Matt Ward, Zach Suess, Joe Hernandez and Josh Mohs.  There will also be an IM Demo featuring Danny Tummia, Bobby Dodd, Josh Mohs and others.

Check out this trailer for the new movie Machotaildrop.  Just from watching the trailer I seen professional skateboarders John Rattray, Steve Olson, andRick McCrank.  McCrank looks to have a pretty large role in the film and I can't wait to see it.  Looks wacky and wild a must see for any skateboarder.  Hopefully, coming to a theater near you.
