Listen/5boro Demo September 21, 2007
 Danny Montoya, Rob Gonzalez, Brian Brown, Rodrigo Peterson, Gabriel De La Mora, and Nathan Fantasia from Listen Skateboards and Danny Falla, Joe Tookmanian, and Robert Lim from 5boro recently came to the Northwest to do a few demos. They went to Midstate on Wednesday the 19th, Spirit on Thursday the 20th, and MLSC on Friday the 21st. I went to all 3 demos and I must say the kids were hyped. Upon arrival in Yakima the teams were greeted with a fight going down right in front of there vans. Fists, crowbars and skateboards can be dangerous weapons. I know one kid broke his hand, lets just hope that's all that got broke. The demo went on well into the dark. Thanks to Vito and the whole Midstate crew. After that it was off to Moses Lake to stay with Mr. Mohs and family. The Spokane demo was the next day and I took the teams to the Spokane hot spot. A few guys got some tricks, while a few didn't. Either way we were late to the demo. The demo was craziness as usual. To many kids skating and not enough watching. Spirit Steve cooked on the grill and everyone one got some food. Thanks to Steve and Spirit. Then it was back to Moses Lake. I would have to say the Moses Lake demo was by far the funnest. I had the kids compete in some contests for prizes. There was the slalom contest, the Bertelmen slide contest, and the mega ramp contest(aka the launch ramp). Kids were going for broke and having a blast. Not to mention the teams and myself. The demos were a huge success. A big thanks to everyone who showed up and an even bigger thanks to the teams for coming out. The Northwest turned out to be the best part of their trip. Huge crowds and hungry autograph seekers. Pro sightings are a rarity out here. Enjoy the video.
