Ellensburg Contest October 6, 2007
The 4th annual Ellensburg Contest is now in the history books. The event was a huge success as usual. All the entrants this year were hyped on the custom contest tee's designed by Josh Mohs. In the beginner class, local ripper, Ridge took 1st place, Alex Alaniz (from Moses Lake and MLSC team rider) took 2nd, and David Lewis from Ephrata took 3rd. In the Intermediate class, local ripper, Kasai took 1st with solid runs, Corey Dahl (from Moses Lake) took 2nd, and John Jackie (from Yakima)took 3rd. In the Advanced class, representing Midstate, Julian (from Yakima) took 1st, Justin Thompson (from Tri-Cities) took 2nd, and Tim Frazier (from Yakima) took 3rd. Alex Crawford won best trick on the big quarterpipe with backside hurricane and a frontside 5-0 to fakie. Manik, MLSC, Midstate, and the Suburban teams demoed for all the locals. A big thanks goes out to the everyone who came out and to all the sponsors who supported the event. We'll see you all again next year. PEACE
